Bainbridge Island

Wil and I visited Bainbridge Island last Saturday.  We took Washington State Ferry from downtown Seattle to Bainbridge Island, which took only about 35 minutes.  The ferry ride was really fun experience! It was chilly out, but we were out on the deck the whole time. I would definitely do this again. We found a cute little restaurant called Cafe Nola (http://cafenola.com/).  They had an amazing pecan caramel french toast. I mean, it was heavenly!  Wil ordered some breakfast, which looked really good too.  After the brunch, we walked around the main street, visited some shops and art gallerias. One the way back, we head south to Tacoma and came back home. It was a good day!

1st Full Week of Class

I start my first full week of class today.  I went to one class last week, but since school did not start until Tuesday I didn't have my Monday course.  Today is Teaching ESL Reading, tomorrow Morphology.  I am looking forward to both.  Also this week, I begin tutoring for ACE's core programs again.  Three students this time since I will have to juggle schedules with the Korean teachers I am working with this week and the first week of February.  It's going to be an interesting schedule!

Ryoko's Visit

My best friend, Ryoko, was visiting Seattle over the New Year.  I was able to take off from work for the entire time she was here.  It was only 6 days, but we had so much fun together!  Here are some of the things we did.
